Understanding and Respecting Other Cultures
Many of us through various programs have the privilege of interacting with people from countries around the world. At the core – people are people and deserve our respect while also wanting to understand us. However, a lack of understanding of a culture affords you the opportunity to unintentionally offend people – creating an oftentimes insurmountable barrier to positive interactions that could lead to meaningful relationships.
In this class, we will explore the world’s regions and how we as Americans can avoid unintentional offense while exhibiting behaviors that build trust and open the door to long-term, successful business and personal relationships.
The training is free to members, but registration is required. Non-member cost is $15. Wonder whether you are part of the current Members Circle of Giving? Click here to find out. Not yet a member? Join today! Register online.
