Fort Worth Sister Cities International will be traveling to Jordan March 27 – April 9, 2017 to learn more about the people of Jordan, their political, educational, and commercial systems. Visit refugee settlements and connect with the people for a true learning experience. You’ll also explore the charm and beauty of this ancient land including Petra, the Dead Sea, and the Bethany baptism site. Deadline to register is November 15.

Day 3 | Learn about politics, education, tourism and business |
Meet the Mayor of Amman and receive briefings from city officials. | |
Dine at Kan Zaman Traditional Restaurant | |
Day 4 | Experience the ancient desert castles of Jordan |
Witness an Azraq refugee camp and connect with the children there through specialized projects including the World Food Bank | |
Day 5 | Visit the Holy Land Insitute for the Deaf |
Travel through the Valley of Jethro to the Dead Sea | |
Day 6 | Witness the site of Jesus’ baptism at Bethany |

Day 7 | Journey through the Jordanian countryside to see Mount Nebo, Madaba, and Bani Hamida |

Day 8 | Enjoy a full day of exploration in Petra as well as an evening candlelit visit to see the Treasury |
Day 9 | Travel to Wadi Rum for a fully immersive experience at a Bedouin Camp where you will spend the night in a 5-star tented hotel |
