Toluca, Mexico - Signed 1998
Toluca, Mexico is Fort Worth's closest Sister City. Toluca was signed after a one-year selection process that identified Toluca as the city with highest marks on the selection criteria and Fort Worth and Toluca's instant mutual admiration. Because so much community participation went into the decision to connect with Toluca, many exciting programs began immediately, such as: middle and high school-to-school partnerships; municipal and economic forums; monarch butterfly tourism exchange; marathoners; culture, language and mentoring programs; and a medical school intern program and fire training program are being finalized.
City Update May 2008
Thanks to everyone who traveled to Toluca to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We had a wonderful time exploring Mexico City, experiencing the colonial city of Taxco, and reconnecting with our friends. Mark your calendar for our meeting next month where we will plan for 2008-2009.

Join us for our Toluca photo-sharing party at the Garden’s Restaurant featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres and cash bar. Bring your photos and photo albums from our 10th Anniversary trip, or bring your digital media and we can show it on the big screen. Also, show off your Taxco silver as we enjoy good food and fun memories from our trip.
